Interviews can be intimidating. You’re walking into a room (or entering a zoom meeting) to speak with someone you’ve never met before, who’s going to decide whether or not you have a chance at landing this job.
And it all hinges on how you perform.
No pressure, right?
While there’s probably no way to completely eliminate the pressure around interviews, there are four ways you can reduce it significantly:
- Research.
- Practice.
- Practice.
- Practice.
Research: Know what they’re all about, what they stand for, their values, and why you’re going to be a great fit for them. If you know who your interviewer is going to be, then see if you can research a bit about them, too.
Then, go and meet Mr. Simon Gooskoff.
?
Mr. Simon Gooskoff (seriously!) is an online, interactive AI interview prep tool.
All you have to do is choose a company or position, and Mr. Simon conducts a mock interview, asking you targeted questions used in real time by professional interviewers. You then replay your answers and hear where you sounded great and where you need to improve.
It’s totally free — and a lot more fun than practicing in front of a mirror!
Do your research.
Practice, practice, practice.
Take a deep breath, strike a power pose, and then go out and ace that interview.
